New York School Bus Safety Report (February 2023)

The State of New York has taken a leadership role in safeguarding the students that travel to and from school every day. Much work remains.

Our School Bus Safety Report is published monthly and covers the previous month. Have a look at results for January.

As of January 2023 in the State of New York, only 14% of school buses are equipped with safety technology, safeguarding only just over 15% of the students that are transported on school buses every day.
