Steve Randazzo

Steve Randazzo leads BusPatrol’s expansion efforts across government relations, sales, marketing, and communications, building deep partnerships with school districts, law enforcement, and community leaders who share a commitment to student safety.

He champions an approach where education, enforcement, and engineering work together to change driver behavior and create lasting community impact, and where success is measured in safer roads, stronger public trust, and students protected every day.

A public policy and government relations leader, Steve has helped build state coalitions and advance legislation that enables school bus stop-arm safety programs, including in states where traffic camera enforcement was previously restricted or prohibited. He brings a practical, state-by-state mindset to that work, helping partners navigate the legislative process and build durable support around clear, enforceable safety policy.

Steve has dedicated his career to public service, beginning as a social studies teacher in the Bronx through Teach For America, serving as a communications officer in the New York Army National Guard, and later as a top deputy to the Suffolk County Executive on Long Island. He also spent several years as a management consultant in PwC’s Advisory Practice.
