New York School Bus Safety Report (April 2023)

The State of New York has taken a leadership role in safeguarding the students that travel to and from school every day. Much work remains.

Our School Bus Safety Report is published monthly and covers the previous month. Have a look at results for February.

As of March 2023 in the State of New York, only 15.3% of school buses are equipped with safety technology, safeguarding only just 16.6% of the students that are transported on school buses every day.
